Kelham Jazz Festival is a celebration of live jazz set in the heart of Kelham Island, Sheffield. Bringing together bold new talent and established artists, the festival transforms the area’s iconic venues into vibrant spaces for music, culture, and community. We are all about great sound, good vibes, and discovering jazz in unexpected places.
Yes. There will be a box office on site where you can purchase tickets on arrival, subject to availability. This will be located at the wristband point. You must join the queue for wristband collection, once at the front, inform the staff that you wish to purchase a ticket. We strongly recommend buying in advance as some venues may reach capacity during peak times.

All ticket holders must exchange their ticket for a festival wristband.
Wristbands can be collected from Alder’s Courtyard, Percy Street, Sheffield, S3 8BT between 10:00am and 10:00pm on the day of the festival.
Your wristband grants you access to all participating venues (subject to capacity). Please keep it securely fastened for the duration of the event
You may be asked to show a valid photo ID for age verification when purchasing alcohol. The festival operates a Challenge 25 policy, so please bring ID if you look under 25.

All venues are within walking distance of one another in Kelham Island and Neepsend.
All participating venues are wheelchair accessible with the exception of Shakespeare’s, where the performance space is located upstairs and is not wheelchair accessible.
If you have specific access requirements, we recommend contacting the venue directly in advance, or speaking to staff on arrival who will be happy to assist.
Under 18s are permitted in selected participating venues until 9:00pm.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
From 9:00pm onwards, under 18s will be required to leave any and all participating venues in line with licensing conditions. For venue specifics, you must contact the venue ahead of time for further details.
Valid ID may be requested where appropriate.

If you purchased tickets online, please check your confirmation email (including spam/junk folders). If you are still unable to locate your ticket, visit the box office with proof of purchase and valid ID, and our team will assist you.
As this is a multi-venue, area-wide festival, venues will open according to their individual programming schedules. Music typically begins from mid-afternoon and continues into the evening. Please check the official timetable for specific set times.

There is no central First Aid point for the festival.
If you require medical assistance, please speak immediately to staff at the venue you are in. All participating venues are responsible for their own first aid provision and trained staff will assist you.
In an emergency, venue staff will contact emergency services if required.
If you feel unwell while moving between venues, please enter the nearest participating venue and alert a member of staff.
Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of festival cancellation. If you have any questions regarding your purchase, please contact the ticket provider directly.
Kelham Island is approximately a 15-minute walk from Sheffield City Centre. The area is well served by local bus routes and is accessible by taxi or rideshare. We encourage attendees to use public transport where possible due to limited parking and the festival’s carbon footprint. Kelham Island is also served by the Yellow and Blue tram routes. The nearest tram stop to the festival is Shalesmoor

There is limited on-street parking in Kelham Island and nearby pay-and-display car parks.
There is also a car park located on Boyland Street, however spaces are very limited and cannot be guaranteed.
We strongly recommend using public transport, walking from the city centre, or taking a taxi where possible.
