Blue Seven have been a dynamic part of the Sheffield music scene for over ten years, performing across the city of Sheffield and surrounding area in some of its finest venues, including Café #9, The Alder Bar, Hagglers Corner, and The Samuel Worth Chapel. Their sound blends jazz, blues, soul, and funk, combining inventive covers with an increasing body of original material. The band features Paul Stockley on trumpet and flugelhorn, Steve Jones on electric guitar, Nigel Monaghan on double bass, and Jack Hanks on drums. 

Known for their captivating performances and rich musicality, they’ve earned glowing praise from audiences — “sublime music,” “wonderful,” “fantastic”. The band have released recordings on Spotify and are currently working on an album of their own material, with a planned release in 2026, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
